We have the ability to implement creative ideas that bring an organization's mission and vision to fruition. We are a qualified team of professionals with over 25 years combined experience working in fundraising, grant writing, strategic planning, community outreach, event planning, public and media relations, and program development. YORR Consulting Group is ready to help your ideas become tangible results. We are also skilled trainers/workshop facilitators with certification in the Appreciative Inquiry training process, Raiser's Edge, Industrial Areas Foundation and DiSC training modules.

Founder/President Bio

Yvonne has been in the fund development, communications, and nonprofit management industry for over 20 years, and brings an extensive working knowledge of Chicago’s religious, philanthropic, and cultural art communities. She most recently served as Chief Professional Officer at South-Southwest Suburban United Way; serving over 60 communities in the south suburban Cook county region, connecting nonprofit agencies to resources and providing funding support in the areas of Education, Income, Health and Crisis.

She has consulted numerous nonprofit organizations, political candidates, and church groups with strategic planning, fund development, nonprofit management, and event planning. She is regularly sought out for facilitating trainings and workshops for nonprofits and corporations in the areas of developing successful business strategies, entrepreneurship/leadership development and leading business tactics for female executives.

Yvonne is the Immediate Past Vice-President of the Western Regions and Immediate Past President of the Midwest Region for the National Hampton Alumni Association, Inc. She is a member of the American Association of University Women (AAUW); and the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), having recently been inducted into NAPW's 2014 VIP Women of Leadership Circle. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of Strategic Solutions Network, as Co-Chair of the Cook County South Suburban C.A.R.E. Collaborative, and is a Member of the Consortium for Civic Engagement for Governors State University. She was recently honored by Governor’s State University Chapter of Pi Alpha Alpha as an Outstanding Community Partner and has received numerous humanitarian and service awards from various organizations.
